Don Azars has worked as Line Producer, Exec. Producer, Director, Editor, Writer and Production Executive on many Broadcast and Cable Network and Syndicated Programs (see credits). Drama, reality shows, comedy, game shows, magazine formats, health/fitness are among the content formats. His infomerical, corporate and home video work has enabled him to work with such personalities as Chris Reeves, Bobby Burgess and Elaine Niverson, Tony Dow and others.

His national series "Crisis Counselor" was the first drama series on the Cable Network that became Lifetime. He Produced the re-packaged the Jackie Gleason Show for 20th Century Fox and was Supervising and Coordinating Producer for NBC's "Games People Play"  and later Production Superviser of "The New Hollywood Squares" syndicated series.

Azars relocated to Los Angeles after leaving the ABC Owned Stations. His positions with ABC included Acting VP Programming, Program Director at KGO-TV in San Francisco and Asst. Program Director at WLS-TV in Chicago. Azars gained recognition creating programming, earning Emmys and other awards for various programming.

He has also worked for ABC Network as a Unit Manger of daytime dramas and sports.

Earlier in his career, he Directed/Produced at RKO's Boston WNAC-TV and Westinghouse's WJZ-TV in Baltimore as well as being appointed Executive Producer at WJZ-TV.

Originally from Washington, D.C. Azars is an Army Veteran, attended University of Md military extention and Boston University after being discharged.
